Rocat Jumpurr, a mobile game developed by the Wroclaw gaming studio Mousetrap Games, is available at Chinese app stores, thanks to the cooperation with the publisher APPTUTTI.

China is the biggest mobile video game market in the world. Unlike Europe, where the majority of games and mobile apps are available at just two stores, China has a much larger amount of distribution platforms that combined reach more than a billion users. Among them are platforms such as TapTap, 233 Playground and 3839 Games. It is there that Rocat Jumpurr is available to download since January 22nd. In the near future, the number of app stores where the game will be available will grow.

The publishing of a production that would be custom tailored to the requirements of such a large and diverse market was possible due to the cooperation with the publisher APPTUTTI, which specializes  in publishing games in China. Thanks to this cooperation Mousetrap Games had access to all the necessary resources to prepare the game for the requirements of Asian platforms.

Rocat Jumpurr is a mobile platformer roguelite video game, where the player takes the role of a bazooka wielding cat who travels through various worlds. The rocket launcher is not only a weapon but also the only means of movement of the character. The game is a hybrid dungeon crawler with hyper casual mechanics, and at the beginning of 2020 it was awarded as the best mobile game at The Very Big Indie Pitch in London.

We are very proud that we have this chance to enter the enormous Chinese market with a production such as Rocat Jumpurr. We put a lot of work and heart into this game, and we are delighted that it was appreciated. The publisher liked the combination of such aspects as the crazy mechanics and the unique visuals. We believe that this could be a good way to success on the Asian market – says Edward Mężyk, CEO Mousetrap Games.

Rocat Jumpurr, known in China as 嘭嘭火箭猫, is also available to download from Google Play i App Store.
